Renowned race-car and motorcycle driver Steve McQueen, who once said he?s not sure if he?s an actor who races, or a racer who acts, impressively went on to become one of Hollywood?s great legends, and ultimately an epitome of American dream. Also nicknamed as ?The King of Cool?, McQueen was the highest paid actor in the 1970s, a fact which actually allowed him to pursue his love of collecting classic motorcycles, and many examples of the bikes he loved to ride, worth millions. Now, for the likes of collectors and Steve McQueen fans, his 1941 Indian 741 military scout will be auctioned with a 1976 photo of McQueen with the bike on the set of his movie ?An Enemy Of The People? as well as a signed check with the power of attorney, along with 2 of his other historic rides, at the MidAmerica Auctions' 22nd Annual Antique Motorcycle Auction at Las Vegas which notably features 600 rare and classic motorcycles with guest of honor as Barbara McQueen, the widow of Steve McQueen and Shane Evans of Collective Soul. However, another Steve McQueen's 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross ridden by the legend in ?On Any Sunday? was also offered on sale at the Bonhams 3rd annual Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction held on 10th January 2013.

Besides, two other unaltered and exactly as owned McQueen?s motorcycles, a 1938 Triumph Speed Twin and a 1940 Indian Four Cylinder, will also be offered at the auction block.
Also headlining the auction scheduled to be held at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on 10-12 January is the world's most talked about collection, the MV Agusta Collection.

However, it?s interesting to note that memorabilia associated with this ?cool? legend always fetches handsome prices, which becomes apparent from the sale of McQueen Le Mans suit for $984,000 to become one of the most expensive celebrity memorabilia, Steve McQueen's 1963 Ferrari Lusso which was expected to fetch $1 million, the Steve McQueen watch worn in the film "Le Mans" for $800,000, and recently the racing jacket worn by Steve McQueen fetched $50,000.
