Manufactured food items are probably the simplest way to feed fish. It comes in the form of pellets or fish flakes. Don't forget that some bottom hugging fish will need pellet food since the flakes won't get to the bottom of the fish tank before being eaten by other inhabitants. You shouldn't be tempted to add in too much as overfeeding fish is a common cause of pollution in custom aquariums.
