A news circulating that the Charlotte Bobcats and the Houston Rockets are trying to get Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo via trade left several sports fans scratching their heads on Tuesday. Apparently, all is fooled by an erroneous tweet from what looks to be a fake account by ESPN analyst Bill Simmons.

In a story released by Fansided writer Chris Roling, the Bobcats and the Rockets were allegedly trying to acquire the service of the Celtics All-Star guard by trading away some of their preciously-kept assets.
The Bobcats were believed to offer draft picks and some of their young ballers such as Kemba Walker, Bismack Biyombo and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for the pass-first point guard.
On the other hand, the Celtics were allegedly demanding the Rockets for Jeremy Lin, Chandler Parsons and draft picks in exchange for Rondo.
However, all of these are baseless rumors manufactured by a?fake Tweeter account by ESPN analyst Bill Simons.
In addition, Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has repeatedly insisted the team is not going to trade Rondo as they plan to rebuild the franchise around the crafty court general and under the tutelage of new Celtics coach Brad Stevens.
Yet, despite all of this foolish reporting, Rondo could still be on the move probably next season. New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is reportedly pushing his team to trade for the All-Star guard while other ball clubs like the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons are always monitoring the 'Rondo Situation.'
Rondo, who averaged?13.7 points and 11.1 assists?per game before going down with an ACL injury last January, has been a subject of trade rumors ever since the Celtics traded away Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets.
